Education & Background
Dana began her career at Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she studied and became a registered nurse. After working as an RN for 10 years, Dana continued her education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing. Dana completed her medical education at Winston-Salem State University with a Master of Science in nursing.
Boasting a broad range of medical experience, Dana has worked in outpatient surgery, emergency room care, and office-based care. Prior to joining Patrick County Family Practice, Dana also worked in the emergency room at nearby Pioneer Community Hospital.
When Dana isn’t providing exceptional patient care, she enjoys traveling and restoring furniture in her free time. Dana also spends much of her time with her family, including her husband Brian and their eight children.
